Alessandra Pagliari

Lawyer

Degree in Law cum laude at LUISS G. Carli University, Rome.
Admitted to the Bar of Rome, to the Register of Arbitrators held by the National
International Arbitral Chamber of the Bar of Rome and admitted to defend before the Supreme Court.
For many years in an important law firm, she has worked closely with the prominent Avv. Filippo D. Vassalli, acquiring a remarkable experience in important financial transactions and case law both at Italian and at international level.

Alessandra has assisted public and private institutions in issues linked to the insolvency of the Lehman Brothers Group (the biggest banking insolvency of all time), in the litigation (before civil, criminal and insolvency courts) that arose from the   insolvency of the Parmalat Group, and in the arbitration between States due to the application of international sanctions.

Since 2018 she has been working as independent lawyer, rendering advice and support in favour of banks, institutions and senior managers of public and private entities, focusing on
export finance, international financial transactions and their regulation, derivative
financial instruments and litigation before the civil and criminal judges, the Corte dei Conti and the arbitral tribunals and ADR bodies.

She also lectures on derivative financial instruments in various university Masters and training courses.

Alessandra has been awarded with a certificate of merits for Best Oral Rebuttal by the Hague Academy of International Law within the competition “hours of crisis” (Winter Course) on 18 January 2020.
